Known as βBrisbane Wattleβ, Acacia fimbriata is a keystone nitrogen-fixing shrub/ tree abundant in the Brisbane region. Its fine, feathery foliage provides excellent shelter for small birds, while mass golden blooms appear in late winter to spring, attracting bees and butterflies. Hardy and low-maintenance, this shrub is ideal for hedges, windbreaks, bush gardens, or pioneer plantings that build soil fertility for other natives.
